A few weeks ago we presented the vision of the South Atlanta Bikeshop to the South Atlanta Civic League (our neighborhood association). The response was very encouraging as the presentation quickly turned into neighors brainstorm about how they could help.
“You guys can use my garage to store any excess bicycles or stuff!”
“Let me know if you need anything welded or built, like an awning over the fenced-in area where you are going to be!”
“You need to talk to such-and-such person because they’d love this idea and surely support you! Here’s the phone number.”
Nobody in the room needed convincing that our youth needs positive outlets for their energy and creativity.
