We loved our two guides in Hvar, Gregor and Jelena (hiking and biking) - both tours were great. However, the bike guide ending in the basement of Gregor's father and receiving wine, olive oil, bread and cheese was amazing.
We loved our guide in Korcula, Mislav (biking) - he took us to an amazing lunch experience where the food was divine and the hostess loved doing her job, explaining about her garden the grappa processes, the olive oils and the food!
The guide at Mljet was a darling person but not such a knowledgeable guide and then we had a strange experience at the restaurant on the island where they brought us an appetizer that we didn't order and then charged us for it with the explanation of "It is on the menu". After lunch, there was definitely tension in the air - like I said, an odd experience. After going through this, I would recommend KimKim suggests that people bring a picnic (sandwiches) and water (our guide had none for us) and go to the fire stand at the top of the island - that view and hike was quite memorable. The restaurant is a rip-off -it was our most expensive meal in 12 days and we had no wine with lunch.
The guide Nika in Dubrovnik was an absolute joy to be with and she had SO much information to share with us - she was an incredible guide and just very warm and easy to be with.
The cooking class outside of Dubrovnik was amazing - they provided a vegetarian meal for me without me even asking! The things they had us make were lots of fun and easy - that experience was also fantastic.
We loved our guide "Disco" who drove us to Mostar and the falls. He was also so knowledgeable about the area, the war, the history of both Croatia and Bosnia. He was so personable and gave a lot of good options. I could have spent 30 minutes less at the falls to have that extra time in Mostar.

We loved Villa Nora in Hvar - the hostess there, Natalie, was so nice and ready to help us at any moment. The room was great and the breakfast was so cozy in the walled courtyard. Her sister was also a great cook and also was ready to help us. Great location and we loved being in old town.

The hotel in Korcula Fabris Inn was in a good location, adjacent to the old town. The room was nice but nothing special, the breakfast was nice as well and we loved sitting near the waterfront every morning while we had coffee and breakfast.

The Hotel Lero was nice, clean and modern and offered a fantastic breakfast each morning (I don't think I have had better coffee) - we enjoyed staying there. We had an issue with the A/C turning off around 5:30-6am which resulted in us getting up to turn it back on. We asked the front desk about it and it was never resolved (they sent someone up immediately but they said it was fine). I would have preferred staying in the old town just because that is where we spent the majority of our time but I think that is something we realized in hindsight. The hotel was nice but again, nothing special.

We loved Villa Nora in Hvar - the hostess there, Natalie, was so nice and ready to help us at any moment. The room was great and the breakfast was so cozy in the walled courtyard. As were the mints and dried figs that were everywhere - I would 100% go back to this hotel.

The Fabris Inn was in a very good location, adjacent to the old town. The room was nice and clean but nothing special (i.e. old with history). This hotel is clean and modern and has an incredible breakfast buffet. The rooms were nice though I didn't love the frosted bathroom door - I was traveling with a friend so that was a tiny bit awkward. Loved the towel rack and the soap and lotion. The front desk was very helpful and always responded to any requests we made. They lent us umbrellas when needed as well as boxed breakfast when we needed it. The coffee is fantastic.

It is about a 20 minute walk to the old town of Dubrovnik. Taking the bus was easy but I would have preferred something closer.

Small Group Island of Hvar Cycling Tour

We loved our biking guide Jelana - the ride was beautiful and she kept a nice pace - not too slow nor too fast. She pointed out some really great things along the way (the old roman roads, the path that the parades follow near Easter, little Venice etc.) She would stop when asked to allow for photos. I loved stopping near the end for gelato - that was the best gelato we had on the trip! Ending in the basement with wine, cheese, olive oil, meats etc was an amazing finish to an already amazing bike ride. Would do this trip again and again.

This was a great experience - we enjoyed Gregor's company and vast knowledge of the area. We had a great walk through all sorts of places - there was nothing strenuous about the walk which was nice since it was pretty hot. We ended with coffee in a cafe overlooking the sea - not as nice as the day before with the wine, cheese and bread but nice nonetheless.

Plitvice lakes are amazing the amount of people there is ridiculous. I wouldn't go back here simply because of the number of people. The infrastructure around the park is great, very beautiful but you are sharing it with a constant stream of people before and after you. I don't know how to resolve this but I really felt like the numbers of people took away from the experience of it.

We loved this experience. Our guide, Mislav, was great! He was very knowledgeable and took us to some beautiful places that we never would have found on our own. We then went for lunch at a small place and the hostess was wonderful about sharing her garden, telling us about the olive oils and liquors they made on the property. The ride was simply awesome and the lunch spot was delicious, relaxing and so fun.

Hvar was our favorite location, but we enjoyed everywhere we visited. All of our booked experiences were excellent, but we’ve listed our three favorites below.
In Hvar, our guide Grgo took us on a private tour of the island, where we learned about the island’s history and the locals. We enjoyed his family’s natural wines in their Konoba with cheeses, meats, and olives, and were brought to a restaurant in Yelsa for a delicious seafood dinner. This was one of our very favorite things we did on the trip!
After arriving in Dubrovnik, we were taken by private driver to Ston (about an hour drive). There, we enjoyed the most beautiful scenery as were taken by boat to a floating bar. Unlimited fresh oysters, muscles, wine, and bread were prepared for us on the water. We enjoyed learning about the oyster farm and our guide even sent us home with the shells of the oysters we ate for crafting.
Sea kayaking in a small group around Dubrovnik’s city walls and local islands was so fun and beautiful. Our guide, Roger, was knowledgeable and friendly, and shared information with us about Dubrovnik’s history and natural beauty. We enjoyed snorkeling, swimming in caves, and catching some sun on the pebblely beaches.
Of all the food we ate in Croatia, our favorite meal was at Panorama in Dubrovnik. Antonia helped us secure cable car tickets and a reservation along the fence, looking over the city at sunset. It was incredible. We were impressed by the service, cocktails, appetizers, and (of course) our meals! The sea bass was SO good.
All in all, an amazing trip. Thanks again to Antonia for the guidance and excellent support!

We received the most warm and hospitable welcome at Villa Toni in Split! They took the time to review a map with us and make recommendations on where to go and what to see while we were there. We were so lucky to stay on the 3rd floor at Devecchi Rooms. The suite was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was amazing. Everything was within walking distance and Devecchi Rooms is in the perfect location - in the middle of everything, but also on a relatively quiet street! We were so impressed that they pre-packaged a breakfast for us the morning of checkout, even though we were leaving prior to breakfast service starting. The service was friendly and they were very accommodating! We had an excellent experience staying here and would recommend to others!

Hotel More in Dubrovnik was stunning. I was initially skeptical about the location, as it was not walking distance to downtown, but wow - I am SO glad we stayed here instead of in the immediate downtown area. The hotel was beautiful and the sea view from our balcony was unforgettable. The breakfast service, cave bar, pools, and cocktail/dessert bar made the stay extra enjoyable. We could have spent an entire day at Hotel More, just enjoying the amenities, and been totally satisfied. Would highly recommend!

Hvar Half-Day Private Island Tour (Afternoon)

We can’t say enough about this experience. We loved meeting Grgo and learning about the island and it’s history. We enjoyed driving views, seeing abandon towns, walking through charming little cities, and tasting delicious wines in an authentic family Konoba. The evening was topped off with a seafood dinner at a lovely local restaurant in Yelsa. We would highly recommend this experience to travelers! It was truly unique and something we’ll never forget. Full Day Boat Tour to Blue Cave & Pakleni Islands

We enjoyed this tour and we had a great, friendly captain. The sites we visited were beautiful and we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling. The blue cave was amazing - worth the wait (~20 minutes), and there’s a bar there! All in all, I’d recommend a half day instead of a full day tour. It was a long day by the end.

Ston Oysters Experience & Wine Tasting

This is one of our favorite things we did on our entire trip. The floating oyster bar was so unique and in such a beautiful location. Oysters are great in any setting, but this was truly unforgettable! We had unlimited oysters, muscles, wine, and bread. Our guide even boiled our oyster shells after we told him we wanted to save some and bring them home. We told us how we can preserve them and taught us all about the oyster farm and the local town (Ston). To top off the excursion, the wine tasting with Josip at Milos was incredible. The wines were so complex and delicious, with such a range in flavor and style. We even decided to buy some to have shipped home to the USA. Worth it! Would highly recommend!

But when we decided to visit Croatia, we realised we needed a bit of extra help. The country was unfamiliar, our plans slightly complicated, and we wanted to pack a lot into our two week trip. And having been denied a decent holiday for a couple of years, we wanted this one to be special.

So we chose Kim Kim. And boy was that a good decision! We were blown away by the personalised planning, the thought, the attention to detail. Right from the first tentative thoughts about where to go to the last airport cab, Kim Kim made sure everything was seamless.

The whole process feels really personal, right from the start. They work hard to tailor the trip to your individual needs, and take a lot of trouble going back and forth to get it right. And the web interface and the app that help you to keep track of your plans, not only before but during your trip, are very slick and user friendly. Little details like being able to download ferry tickets directly onto your phone make things very smooth.

But the thing that really made a difference was having one person looking after us throughout. Antonia, our local specialist, was AMAZING! To be honest, I was a bit sceptical at first about how much personal contact we would really get once the plans were finalised and the trip paid for. But Antonia was there by our side (virtually at least) every day of the trip, messaging us each morning to remind us of our plans, sorting out things like restaurants, trips and even laundry. As my wife said, it was like having a butler!

This probably wasn't the cheapest way to travel, but it was the best. We packed so much in, and had so much fun, with so little hassle. We will definitely be going back to Croatia, which may well be our new favourite destination, and we will definitely use Kim Kim again.

Slightly out from the old town, but cabs are plentiful (including Uber), so no problem. Part of a modern resort complex with several hotels, restaurants, bars and pools clustered together. That would not normally be our taste, but it is very tastefully done, and it means you have a range of places to eat, drink and so on. Great facilities. Shame we were only there for a short visit! Oh, and the most AMAZING sea views!

Great tour of the lakes and waterfalls. It's a stunning location, very instagrammable. Our guide was great, and tailored the walk to the weather and our needs. It clearly gets very crowded there during normal times, but it wasn't too bad when we went, since Asian tourists have still not returned yet.

A great day round the Islands. A wonderful fish lunch at a beautiful little harbour. Fantastic swimming, including a chance to snorkel over a wreck. Our skipper really looked after us.

Sea Kayak Tour on Korčula

Korčula Island

Our first experience of sea kayaking, and a great place to do it. Sea was utterly calm. Kayaking was just the right balance of challenging and do-able (we are a middle-aged couple with a teen, and not very sporty). Loved the little islands, including one recently visited by both Beyonce and Bill Gates, tasting the local snacks and wine, and seeing the deer on the Monastery Island.

Korčula Island

Beautiful place. Having got the ferry to the Island, we walked to the Big Lake and got a little ferry to the Monastery Island (an island within an Island!) and back. Then rented bikes and cycled around. Finished with an early dinner by the harbour.

Elafiti Islands - Private Half Day Speedboat Tour

Great trip round the islands near Dubrovnik. Various chances to swim, including swimming into two sets of sea caves, which was awesome! Our skipper got us to the Blue Cave before the crowds, and I have to say swimming into it was an amazing experience. A little nervy, but definitely worth it!

The hotel we stayed in when in Split (Villa Toni) had the friendliest front desk representative. He ensured we had everything we needed, presented us with a wonderful breakfast each morning with items we mentioned we liked and he was aware of our our itinerary. We had a personal boat for a day when in Split and the skipper named Stipe was very nice and took us all around (Blue Lagoon etc ) for 8 hours! When we arrived in Hvar there was a personal driver who took us around to parts of the island we didn't even know existed. Wonderful seeing all areas of the island. We finished our tour in Dubrovnik and stayed at the wonderful Hotel More. I would definitely recommend Kimkim and Antonia! Antonia went above and beyond helping us tweak our itinerary as needed during our trip.

Full Day Private Boat Tour to Blue Lagoon & Island of Šolta

We had our own boat for a day when in Split and the skipper named Stipe was very nice and took us all around the areas (Blue Lagoon etc ) for 8 hours! We stopped for lunch and went snorkeling over a shipwreck. Would definitely recommend!

Our guide Josip was from the island and drove us to so many beautiful stops, including the area he was from. It was a private tour so you really felt the VIP treatment. We stopped for dinner at a local restaurant and were dropped off at our hotel at the end.

We would not have had the vacation we had if it were not for Ivana in Dubrovnik, specifically with the Game of Thrones walking tour; Dominik and Dea of Nautica Adventure Tours in Hvar, specifically for giving us a uniquely unforgettable experience; Ivana in Zadar and Dugi otok, specifically for her communication and organization to make our family heritage day as special as possible; and Josipa in Zagreb, specifically for her liveliness and enthusiasm to show off her beautiful city, rich with culture. Everything ran smoothly, my family and I felt taken care of, and we certainly had the highly anticipated trip of a lifetime!

It was just amazing from start to finnish. The swim stops, the islands we visited, the tours, wine tasting, Oyster tasting ..... the list goes on and on ....... an unforgettable trip. WOW! Everyone was on time and helpful with information. We flew into Dubrovnik from NJ and had a day to relax at the beautiful outdoor pool and lounges at a fantastic hotel picked by Antonia. Hotel More. Of course we did the Game of Thrones tour in old town and Antonia chose a great guide for us that could balance the 3 different age groups and the heat wave. After 2 days and great food and people we were off to Hvar, my favorite stop! Again Antonia chose a lovely hotel, Adriana, that was perfect! In Hvar Antonia set up a tour that brought us over the mountains to the other side of the island with a great tour and dinner included. We saw a few smaller towns and loved every minute. The next day she booked us on a speed boat to visit the blue and green caves and go for swims in a few different alcove beaches. Spending a day on the water with Dominick's tour company (Antonia wins again) felt like I was living the life of the rich and famous! He brought us to an amazing restaurant on a small island (also all part of our package) and we had an amazing meal. Next stop was traveling to a small town and finding my family heritage in Dragova, on Dugi Otok. Antonia found the perfect guide who did lots of research before we went. She was history buff and proved that when she was also our walking tour guide in Zadar. She knew when to give us private time to spread my grandmother's ashes and have our remembrance and she was lots of fun too. Our last stop in Zagreb was met with another great walking tour guide and lots of recommendations for our last 24 hours! It was the vacation of a lifetime and I will be happy to plan with Kim Kim for our next EU trip to Italy!!

My family was VERY skeptical about this event. Our driver had never been to this village and also wondered what we were doing!!! We said we didn't really know, but trusted Antonia. Well, Branko and Danijela immediately embraced us as if we were family and this event was probably one of the most memorable of our trip. We ate two meals with them, took a tour of their property, learned about thier mission in life and how they are revitalizing their tiny village through art, love and collaboration. The process was seamless. We shared with her details about length of stay, types of properties and what our interests were and Antonia nailed it. After messaging and several phone calls she put together a travel plan that felt just right.
We flew into Dubrovnik, stayed there one night, the bed in our room was covered with rose petals and there was a lovely bottle of wine provided by Antonia. Nice touch. From there we ate oysters in Mali Stone, then went to Split. From Split to Hvar, then to Korcula and back to Dubrovnik. Each location was fabulous and wine tatings everywhere. Our accommodations were perfect, the guides and drivers were top notch and they spoke very highly of her. All the excursions , wine tastings, boat trips, restaurant suggestions were on point. We recently used Antonia to plan a trip to Croatia and Slovenia and she planned a wonderful 27-day vacation for us.

We had looked into planning a trip ourselves and the logistics were a bit overwhelming, including the complications driven by COVID 19. We were put in touch with Antonia through KimKim; in hindsight, what a blessing that was!

Antonia made some suggestions (such as a hot air balloon flight) that we incorporated with our specific interests. After some messaging that got us close, we had a phone call with her to iron out details. Our final plan met all of our objectives. Admittedly, sending a fairly large sum to someone we’ve never met had us a bit concerned, but there was no problem. We're confident that if something would have arisen Antonia would have done her very best to make things right.

We met Antonia when we arrived in Zagreb where she provided more details along with a welcome package. Using the Trip Plans app and WhatsApp, we had daily communication with Antonia. We could count on contact every night around 7pm, in addition to followup on any questions we had during the day. When she said she's available 24/7, she means it!

Our accommodations were centrally located and in interesting, boutique hotels. All of our guides were excellent, and experiences such as wine/food tastings and hikes all offered something extra we would have likely not come up with on our own. No detail was overlooked.

Upon arrival, we had the opportunity to meet Antonia. She was waiting for us at the hotel and was waiting for us with a nice bag of thoughtful "goodies". ( ponchos for the rain, masks, hand sanitizer and yummy chocolates for my son and for my husband and myself!) She went through the itinerary to make sure everything was clear and even gave us a nice printed copy of it. Very professional!
Kristina was our guide in Zagreb. We had only one day to explore and learn about the city. She was very good and gave us a nice walking tour, pointing out the main buildings and giving the best advise on where to eat and what to do.
On our way to Plitvice we stopped at the Homeland War Museum and learned a lot about the history of the country. Very interesting and impressive.
Plitvice was breathtaking! Marijana, our tour guide was wonderful! We spent the whole day with her and felt like part of our family. Great conversation, lots of history and very good with our son! Definitely a must if needing a guide in the park!
On our way to Split we followed Antonia's recommendation of going to Sibenik and the Falconry Center, both very special places.
Our next stop was Split and it was amazing! Our tour guide Ivana was an "explosion" of knowledge and culture. What a wonderful person to be with!
The hotel Murum in the middle of the Palace was quite an experience, sure to be remembered!
The surprises kept getting better and better! Next stop.... Hvar. Another absolutely gorgeous destination. Hotel Adriana's view from our room was to die for!
Our guide Grgo was incredible! He became very close to us during our time together that we even got to meet his dad and his wife and son. We had the opportunity to see and feel the "real" Hvar life by going to his own winery and olive oil factory. We shared a very yummy dinner and he was great with our son. The private speed boat tour in Hvar was the highlight of the trip for our son. Nicola, our captain let our son "drive" the boat and his face was priceless! The cave were amazing and the whole tour was just perfect. To end a great day, we had a very tasty late lunch at Palmizana restaurant.
Continuing with our trip, we took the Ferry to Korcula where we visited a honey production company and enjoyed a traditional pasta dinner followed by an impressive Moresca dance.
Our last stop was Dubrovnik .... what a place!!!!!!
Our guide Ivana gave us a very interesting lesson on history, culture and archeology. It would have not been the same without her knowledge and charisma.
Last but not least, we were able to fit a spectacular photo shoot with Dubo (Dubravko Lenert
He spent more than 1 hour with us and the pictures are the perfect "cherry on top of the cake) for this once in a lifetime trip!

Over time, we settled on a 9-day adventure, starting in Split, visiting Trogir, Skradin, Hvar, and departing from Dubrovnik. Antonia was unexpectedly able to greet us upon our arrival in Split and was simply a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm. The darling goodie bag she presented us was filled with useful, appreciated, thoughtful items. We shared a brief coffee/meal and set out to enjoy an exquisite city. Our hotel was perfectly located inside the walls of Diocletian's Palace and central to everything.

Each day, sometimes multiple times a day, she would check in via WhatsApp, but she was also communicating with drivers (multiple personalized tour guides, private transfers) and hotel operators to ensure we were properly cared for and had our tickets for various excursions.

Clearly, the team with which she works are deeply committed to client experience. Every guide, driver and hotel seemed customized to our eclectic tastes. We wanted eco-tourism, hikes, deeply local (non-touristy) experiences, heritage hotels, but also a couple days of luxury. We requested history, archeology, wine tours, beaches, nightlife, and hiking. That's not an easy order...on a budget...but she over-delivered. Over and over again.

No fear of being delayed by anyone and we simply zipped across borders….very different experience for the tour buses each with 40 or more passengers trying to clear customs.

Antonia welcomed us with a full package on arrival, we had a good chat on the phone discussing the itinerary and any questions I had. We also had a great app for the itinerary.
