Jared Reisman

I am a travel advisor for JayWay Travel and I get joy from planning amazing adventures for clients with the knowledge I've gained having traveled extensively throughout Europe. I prefer to build a relationship with my clients and really get to know them so that I can suggest the best things to do in order to make their trip as memorable as possible. My specialties are in Central and Eastern Europe where I have traveled the most.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Central and Eastern Europe. Specifically Italy, Croatia, Germany, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania."

How did you get involved in travel?

"During my time in university, I studied abroad twice which eventually sparked my passion for travel. Eventually, I decided I'd like to have a career in tourism to be able to pursue my travel goals and most importantly share those experiences with others so they can enjoy them just as much as I did!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"I'd have to say in Cape Town, South Africa when I went diving with Copper Sharks and also snorkeling with seals. Being that close to animals in the wild (especially sharks) was very memorable."

8 Places Most Travelers Miss in Croatia (But Shouldn't)

It’s easy to follow the crowds in Croatia, but that doesn’t mean you should. Although the Dalmatian Islands, Dubrovnik, and Split rightfully receive many accolades, it can pay off to forge your own path—especially in crowded peak season. Trip was great, well coordinated, Jared was always immediately available with help / guidance along the way, even when I was abroad. I would recommend Mostar for future guests in place of Travnik day trip, but all else was interesting to see. Jared is the best!

Antonija and Jared did a great job planning and coordinating our ten day trip to Croatia. In Split our guide Andre took us on a great trip yo Plitvice Lakes. Hvar is a magical island and our favorite stop on our tour. Villa Nora was superb. In Dubrovnik our highlight was visiting (and tasting) an oyster farm in Ston.

The KimKim Team truly came through beyond my expectations for this short, but very memorable trip to Poland. The hotel choices were excellent, well except for one, but fortunately all others were top class. The drivers were very professional, puntual and friendly. The tours I booked were amazing, but also had plenty of time to spend on my own exploring Krakow and Warsaw. My visit to Auschwitz was with a private driver and guide. I strongly recommend it to avoid the crowds even in late November. Krakow is jut beautiful all around. The visit to Czestochowa was perfect to break the long drive between Warsaw and Krakow. They even drove me through various castles called the Eagle Nest drive. Upon my arrival in Warsaw they provided me with a local cell phone which I could use to contact their local agent Igor Setkowicz. Igor was amazing. He was very attentive to my needs throughout the trip. I book the trip through KimKim’s trip advisor Jared Reisman here in the USA. He also was extremely responsive of any questions or changes during the booking process and trip. I loved the KimKim contact online interface and the various things you can sign up for. They also provide you with online maps of places of interest, dining, etc. Which ai used quite a bit. Overall I will strongly recommended giving these folks a call if you are going to Poland or you are traveling anywhere else where you need to be more independent and not tied to a specific group travel. Before I decided to go with KimKim I tried to book my journey through other agencies I have use extensively in the past like Alexander & Roberts, Kensington Tours and Abercrombie & Kent. KimKim beats them all by far when it comes to customer service.

If we have to put a negative into this section, the only thing is the five day walk around the three lakes. This is so minor but here we go. Day two had us walking through very muddy trails which really were unsuitable, we should have returned to our hotel by the way we came. Day four had us walking along a path covered by fallen trees which really needed clearing. At times we thought we would have to turn back.
Thanks for a great experience in Central Europe.
