Welcome to Bali! You'll arrive in Ubud and do some sightseeing on Day 1, visiting the Bali Swing on the second day to enjoy a thrilling ride high over the jungle treetops. Hop on a bicycle and pedal to Batur on a day trip, then spend the next few days exploring the cultural monuments and scenery around Ubud. Hike to Besi Kalung Temple on Day 5, then get up early for a sunrise trek to the top of Mount Batur.
You'll continue on to Seminyak for the second part of the trip, basing yourself in the resort town while you explore the area. Visit the legendary sea temple of Tanah Lot, perched on a rock by the sea, one of seven sea temples found along the Balinese coast. Begin the adventure with a night in Sanur, then move on to Ubud for some sightseeing on Day 2. You'll enjoy a cycling excursion to Kintamani the next day, followed up by an early-morning climb to the top of Mount Batur for incredible sunrise views. Later in the day, you'll go whitewater rafting through the rainforest on the Telaga Waja River. You'll spend the next two nights in Amed, taking a relaxing day trip to the fishing village of Tulamben on Day 5.
Continue to the seaside town of Candidasa, a popular base for treks and outdoor excursions, including snorkeling. Then you'll boat to the island of Nusa Penida, where you'll spend the next few days exploring paradise, cruising around Manta Point, and snorkeling around the island's colorful northern reefs. Your cultural tour begins in Ubud when you take a cooking class with a local chef. You'll learn more about Balinese cuisine at Rumah Desa Balinese House and Cooking Studio on Day 3, where you'll also have the chance to meet a local family. Then you'll go for a ride on a traditional canoe on Tamblingan Lake and hike to GitGit Waterfall, one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls of Bali, and Aling Aling, a waterfall with a natural slide.
Midway through the trip, you'll tour Brahma Vihara Arama, the largest Buddhist monastery on the island. Go snorkeling around the island of Menjangan in Bali Barat National Park, then go for a dip at striking Les Waterfall.
