Overview
This hotel's 59 rooms are modern, with bold design elements like pops of color and patterned tiles. Most are doubles, although Family Rooms can sleep three on a mix of beds and sofa beds. Enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside, where you might see grazing animals or even the northern lights, which you can make sure to catch by requesting a northern lights wake-up call from reception. Twin and Queen options have showers only, while King and Family Rooms have bathtubs and showers for those who want to decompress. If you're traveling in the summer, note that at this time, rooms don't offer air conditioning.
A highlight of the hotel is its two hot tubs, available for all guests. There are two restaurant options: Mylla, the cozy on-site restaurant that's open all day and offers Icelandic cuisine, and Gamli Bærinn, a country tavern and pub. The hotel's meeting room is not your typical business center, as its mix of wood and leather evokes a warm atmosphere, and the space can be used for meetings or even private dinners.
