Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Interlaken - Schynige Platte - Weber Hut
Start your classic trip to the Alps with one of the most famous forms of Swiss transportation. Hop a train from the town of Interlaken to Schynige Platte, where your hike will begin. Since it's your first day, you'll take it easy hiking across an Alpine pasture to a typical Swiss mountain hut, where you'll relax for the night.

Day 2: Faulhorn - Grindelwald - Alpiglen
Begin your day high in the mountains with a hike to up to Faulhorn, where you'll have a 360-degree panorama of the main peaks in the area. After enjoying the view, begin your descent past Bachalp Lake and take a cable car to the village of Grindelwald, the beating heart of the Bernese Oberland. Spend some time strolling through town before making your way to Alpiglen, either via train or by hiking up through the surrounding forest.

Day 3: Alpilgen - Eiger Trail - Kleine Scheidegg - Jungfraujoch
Follow the famous Eiger trail, starting at the foot of the Eiger mountain's north face, a scenic high point of the week. Ascend up to Kleine Scheidegg, the starting station for the Jungfraujoch saddle connecting Mönch and Jungfrau. Then use the famous mountain train to reach Jungfraujoch (top of Europe) where you'll stay for the rest of the day. Head back to Kleine Scheidegg for a night in a historic hotel.

Day 4: Kleine Scheidegg - Lauterbrunnen - Mürren
A long descent into Wengernalp brings you down the waterfalls of the famous trough-style Lauterbrunnen valley, one of the most scenic valleys in the Alps. You can visit the Trümmelbachfälle (Trümmelbach Falls), ten glacial waterfalls inside the mountain, then walk along the valley floor surrounded by cliffs and even more waterfalls to Lauterbrünnen town. Once you've explored the valley's floor, take a cable car and train to the suspended village of Mürren, where you'll spend the night in a bed and breakfast.

Day 5: Mürren - Interlaken
Spend your last morning on the trail around Mürren with two trail options, taking either the 2.5-hour north face trail or 2-hour mountain view trail. If neither appeals, you can also make your way to the revolving restaurant Piz Gloria, best known for its appearance as the villain's hideout in the James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Once you've hiked your fill, follow a train, cable car, and second train back down to Interlaken to end your adventure.
