Authenticity

Once you go up to the roof or sit on your balcony to gaze at the Acropolis for a minute (or 30), you'll appreciate the value of Elia Ermou. The clear, unimpeded visual of the Acropolis from different points of the hotel is an asset while staying in Greece. Elia Ermou also tries to bring modern Greece into the picture: some rooms and common spaces include original artwork by local Greek artists, all available for purchase.

Location

Elia Ermou is located in a place where ancient and modern Greece meet. Many ancient archaeological sites are within reach—most no more than 15 minutes away by foot—and the modern Greek interest in tourism means this area is geared toward foreigners. Syntagma Square and the National Garden are just a 5-minute walk away, while the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and Monastiraki Square are all 10 minutes away on foot.

Elia Ermou has 123 clean, simple, and modern rooms of various types, including the executive room (with a hammam or steam shower), family rooms that can sleep up to four people, and rooms with large balconies overlooking the Acropolis. All the rooms feel quite spacious, including the smallest, the Basic Double Standard. You can lay out your stuff, stretch your legs, or even exercise with the provided small weights and dumbbells in each room.

Elia Ermou Athens Hotel Athens has a rooftop hydromassage tub, a gym, and an open-air veranda offering views of the Acropolis in the distance. The same space hosts a beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar. A small elevator is available, as well as rooms suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Family-Friendliness

Elia Ermou Athens Hotel isn't particularly family-friendly in terms of design or amenities, but they offer baby cribs on request and babysitting services. Children up to age 11 stay for free, while those 12 and older are charged as adults. There are elevators for strollers, but guests should keep in mind that they're quite small.
