How to Get to Granada

By air: Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport (GRX) serves the Granada region. It primarily handles domestic flights and a few international routes. It's about 12 miles (19.3 km) west of Granada's city center. Travel time from the airport to the city center typically takes 20 to 30 minutes by car or taxi.

By train: Granada's main train station is the Granada Railway Station, connected by Renfe, which links the city to other major destinations in Spain, including Madrid and Barcelona. The high-speed train from Madrid typically takes around 4 hours, while a trip from Barcelona can take approximately 6 to 7 hours.

By bus: The Granada Bus Station, Estación de Autobuses de Granada, is the main hub for buses in the city, connecting it to other parts of Spain and a few international destinations. We only recommend taking the bus if traveling within Andalusia or from Madrid, which takes around 4 to 5 hours. Otherwise, the journey is a bit too long for the bus. 

By car: Granada can be accessed by the A-44 and A-92 highways, among others, from various points in Spain. Traveling by car from Madrid to Granada generally takes around 4 to 4.5 hours, while the journey from Barcelona to Granada is longer, usually taking approximately 8 to 9 hours.

How to Get to Seville

By air: Seville Airport (SVQ) is the region's main international airport. It welcomes flights from various European cities and a few long-haul destinations. It's about 6 miles (9.7 km) east of Seville's city center, which takes about 15 to 20 minutes by car or taxi.

By train: Seville's primary train station is Santa Justa, operated by Renfe, Spain's national rail service. The station connects major destinations like Madrid, Barcelona, and other regional cities. A train journey from Madrid to Seville is typically about 2.5 to 3 hours on the high-speed AVE trains, while the trip from Barcelona to Seville can take around 5.5 to 6 hours.

By bus: The main bus station in Seville is the Estación de Autobuses Plaza de Armas. It provides connections to various parts of Spain and some international destinations. Bus travel times can be very long (6 or 7 hours from Madrid and up to 14 from Barcelona), so it's only recommended to take the bus when traveling within Andalusia. 

By car: Seville is well-connected by highways such as the A-4 and A-92, making it accessible from many parts of Spain. The drive from Madrid to Seville typically takes around 5 to 6 hours, while from Barcelona, it takes approximately 9 to 10 hours.
