Hotel Lago Grey, Torres del Paine
Simple minimalist hotel with clear views of Lago Grey, family room options, and a cozy bar and restaurant
Our favorite of the trip. Although it lacked a tv, extra waste basket. The breakfast spread was amazing and the views and location outstanding.

Overview
The location and view are the point here, so the rooms are simple and minimalist to let nature speak for itself. The two room types are Standard and Superior, with the main difference being the view. Superior rooms offer floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over Lago Grey and the mountains and may make you forget about getting online since WiFi in the rooms can be spotty. Standard rooms include mountain or garden views. Some options can sleep three on multiple beds, and the Superior Twin Room has two full beds. Bathrooms offer rainfall showers, and rooms do not include air conditioning.
The hotel's common areas include a cozy wood-lined bar and lounge, as well as a Patagonian restaurant with views of the lake. The WiFi is stronger in these areas, so head there if you need to get online. There's also a garden, where you can soak in the atmosphere of this remote part of the world.

This is a lovely hotel with enormous windows overlooking Lago Grey. We were ready for a comfortable private room after four nights of shared bedrooms and bathrooms on the W. The restaurant has a large and varied menu and the service staff were professional and friendly.
