Kuyana Amazon Lodge, Archidona

We liked the space in the middle of the rain forest.

It is like a paradise in the midst of nowhere. The botany is beyond imagination and more beautiful then botanical gardens. Our guide was Leonardo, who was incredible, but overworked as he was also functioning as general manager.
He was friendly to everyone and helpful, informative and very kind. The food was good, rooms could have been a bit cleaner and off more towels, not otherwise it was great. We saw monkeys galore, birds, waterfalls, learned how to make chocolate and lots about the community surrounding and plants.

The lodge is amazing, the staff are attentive and they go out of their way to make sure you have a good time. I can't believe Leonardo, our guide. He worked tireless hours and showed us around and helped the servers and was all around amazing. Ramona (their adopted pet woolly monkey) is the star of the resort. She's extremely sweet and cuddly and so much fun. The guests were also quite wonderful. Many were locals and we had a great time with them. The activities they had were fun and the place was completely relaxed and laid back. Totally recommend for a lovely time.

Ivan and Lou have created a wonderful space in which to experience the rainforest. Their staff is hospitable, responsive and caring. Leo, our guide for all our adventures was phenomenal. As a vegetarian, I was blown away by the preparation and p\resentation of the meals.

Lodge is in a beautiful area. The guides are knowledgeable and very caring. The Chef is amazing - most delicious meals! And we loved the pet monkey, Ramona. More details in my main review. The only feedback would be to include a boxed lunch on the visit to the Napo River / indigenous people village / tubing day so that we can eat during the lunch hour.

Great staff, beautiful surroundings and wonderful rooms! Meals were great and the activities were fun. Highly recommend!

Wonderfully comfortable and relaxing in a beautiful and exotic setting. Literally the best of both worlds.

The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed! Amazing It’s kinda scary to get to but so worth the drive.

Great place. If you want to hear the jungle, this is the place. You are in it.
