Although many people may not believe it, the Dominican Republic has much more to offer than just all-inclusive resorts. It is a country that I have been fortunate to know in-depth and where I have lived for some time. A place to which I keep returning, the island keeps surprising me every time I go back.

I am fulfilling a dream, being able to share with you the passion that I feel for this country and its people.

Although I am Spanish, and my residence is in Málaga (Andalucía), I have had the great opportunity of being able to live in various Latin American countries such as Panama, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. I have traveled extensively for the last 25 years, visiting much of my own country of Spain, as well as Portugal and many countries around the world. I have learned to value what other cultures can offer and teach us. I look forward to sharing what I have learned about the Dominican Republic with you!

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Our company specializes in creating customized trips to those countries we know best; Spain, Portugal, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic."

How did you get involved in travel?

"Like many of the clients we work with, I have always been crazy about traveling. Since I was able to start traveling on my own, I have traveled all around Europe, Latin America, North America, and Asia. That passion for traveling led me to do a postgraduate/masters degree in Tourism Management, later to partner with industry professionals to set up our own travel company.

My intention is always to ensure that our clients live, know, and feel the countries they visit with the same intensity and authenticity that I do."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"I must start by saying that I am completely in love with the Dominican Republic, I think that one of the travel experiences that has marked me the most was the first time I visited the country, 23 years ago, I fell in love with its people, its joy, its culture, and its incredible natural beauty.

The most special place and where I have returned millions of times late is the Samaná Peninsula. I was so impressed by its landscapes, its solitude, and wild beaches. Here you still feel like an adventurer, an explorer, who can enjoy a few hours alone in paradise.

The people in the Dominican Republic are very special. Everyone takes the time to talk to you and help you in any way they can. They share with you what little they have and are capable of always making you smile with their joy, their love of music, and their good humor to take life`s difficulties in stride.

The region of Samaná offers adventure, hikes, waterfalls, boat trips to desert beaches, caves where you can see paintings done by the Taínos, the original inhabitants of the island. It is a true paradise and 20 years later I still think the same when I visit Samaná every time. The Dominican Republic is much more than a resort!"

Marta was an absolute pleasure to work with. She planned everything from the stays, to excursions, to any last minute changes we needed and was always easily accessible and available to help. She was very adaptable to our requests and worked her hardest to make sure we had everything we needed! We had an absolutely wonderful time in the Dominican and would love to go again!

We stayed at some incredible hotels including the Dominican Treehouse Village in Samana and the Bahia Principe in Punta Cana. Tours included horseback riding to El Limon waterfall, Scuba Doo in Punta Cana, hiking and jumping off the 27 waterfalls, a day trip to Playa Rincon and a bike tour in the Zona Colonial in Santo Domingo! I can’t wait to use Marta again for when I go to Portugal!
