Maude Pepin

According to me, traveling and learning about different cultures brings people together and makes us grow as a person. I have always felt a strong sense of belonging to my Québec / Canadian origins and pleased to share the different aspects of our colorful culture. Because of its diversity, its bilingualism and its natural wonders around every corner, my mission here is to provide you with the most enriching and authentic experience in Canada!

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I am an outdoor enthusiast and I love kayaking and canoeing. I like everything that is off the beaten track and It's always a plus when I can bring my dog to activities/accommodations and I do a lot of researches for that because everything is better when your best friend is with you. :)
"

How did you get involved in travel?

"I got the travel bug after my trip to Senegal and I decided to get into the tourism industry. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"My trip to Scotland where I worked as a receptionist is a hostel. The people I met there from around the world and the landscape of the Highlands will remain etched in my memory! "

Visit British Columbia in the spring, one of the best times to plan a vacation
Best Time to Visit British Columbia

British Columbia covers a huge territory, stretching from more than 620 miles (1,000 km) of Pacific shoreline to glacier-topped mountains, the rolling hills of Okanagan wine country, and the temperate urban center of Vancouver. While winter brings cold weather and plenty of snow to the interior, British Columbia’s coast is warmed by Pacific Ocean currents, making it temperate year-round. Planning a trip requires some thought into both what region and season to target for a British Columbia visit—this guide outlines your best options.

Sunset Inn and Suites
Vancouver

The bedroom in the suite we had was tiny! It had a king sized bed but we barely had room to walk around it. We had to move our suitcases out of our way each time we needed to move. Would have rather had a queen bed if meant we had more space. The living room and kitchen were nice. Breakfast was included but had to be ordered ahead of time

Room was clean but space of the bedroom was a major draw back l. It also had a window AC unit with ductwork duck taped to the window and wasn’t very secure. Bedroom had window unit behind the curtain so it blew cold air into the curtain the whole time. Room was visible to other buildings so we had to keep it closed for privacy making the AC unit useless. Fortunately our time of year didn’t require much AC and we were still comfortable
Moose Hotel and Suites
Banff

This hotel was amazing!!! The amenities were great! We enjoyed the rooftop hit pools and room service for breakfast was very convenient! The suite was spacious and the bathroom was really nice! We can’t wait to come back here.

Tips for future travelers

Use the included local transit bus pass. Parking is difficult and it was so nice to have convenient mass transit that was free to us as guests.
