off.road.cc editor picks the BIG.TRAIL as 'MTB of the Year'

While the new BIG.TRAIL has been launched to an excellent reception by media and consumers alike, our high-value, high-fun trail hardtail has been crowned as the 'MTB of the Year' by off.road.cc's Technical Editor Liam Mercer.
While the previous BIG.TRAIL was also a huge success, our product team looked at every aspect of the bike to try and improve it, while keeping the essence of what made it such a success - and Liam thinks they succeeded, saying "the very latest version not only built upon an already fantastic bike but made it an awful lot better".
The BIG.TRAIL has always been about proving that you don't need to spend a huge amount of money to get a functional and fun MTB. By marrying a tough aluminium frame with progressive geometry to fit-for-purpose equipment, it can provide trail thrills for those on a tighter budget or who want more challenge than riding a full-suspension MTB.
As Liam says, this bike is: "a serious option for those looking to step into proper trail riding on a proper quality machine" and that "the Big.Trail 600 is the one bike that I’ve ridden this year that’s kept me pedalling back up the hill for one more go, over and over again".
