We spent 13 days in Morocco. Working with Said to plan the trip was a pleasure. Said was always helpful and prompt in his responses to our communications. During the trip if adjustments/changes were requested, Said was great in making them happen. Faisal, our driver, was an amazing driver and shared lots of knowledge about Moroccan life and culture. He was always happy to answer our questions. He knows everyone which was certainly helpful in making things go smoothly. Favourite places… the tour of the Mosque and a walk on the beach in Casablanca, Chefchaouen (the blue city), Volubilis (UNESCO World Heritage site - amazing Roman Ruins), Fes (both the tour of the Medina and the scenic over look of the Medina), the magical Sahara, crazy and wonderful Marrakesh (both the cultural tour and the food tour (both with Hanan) were fabulous and of course Essaouira (be sure to buy fresh fish on the dock and have them barbecued on the pier (the one at the far end of the pier is the best)). We loved staying in Riads but be prepared for lots of stairs). There is a lot of driving involved (which they tell you about up front), but you need to be prepared for that. Faissal had stops planned but was also happy to stop if we needed additional breaks or for photo ops. Overall a memorable trip.

Said is a master communicator and answered many many questions I presented before the trip. Our guide Reda was an absolute professional with excellent attention to detail with our needs. Unfortunately I had a knee injury about a month before the trip. Reda went out of his way and by his own initiative to accommodate us including stopping to find me an ice bag. At our hotel stops he initiated getting us moved to a ground level room to help me avoid stairs. Aside from the incredible communication and attention to detail. Our trip was a flawless plan with a flawless execution. I was able achieve a bucket list item of visiting the desert and riding a camel! Yep would recommend KimKim in a heartbeat and we are already planning our next adventure!

Our trip to Morocco was fantastic. We had Lahcen as a driver, he was such a nice guy and made it easy for us to have an enjoyable experience. Travelling is a small group (we were a party of 4) gives you access to experiences you would never get on a big tour bus. For example: Upon arrival in Merzouga in late afternoon, our 4 camels were waiting for us and we were led across the dunes to see the sunset then continued into darkness (1.5 hr camel ride with a guide) to arrive at the Tiziri desert eco camp. The camp staff had our 2 luxury tents ready for us, provided a scrumptious dinner, then played traditional Berber music for us around a campfire under the Saharan moonlight. It was a magical experience that I never would have had without the expertise of Kimkim tour (Said in particular) setting it up for us. Many thanks.

We were traveling as a family of 4 with 2 kids and our trip was excellent. Special thanks to our guide Sameer who was so helpful and made us feel very comfortable. We had a clean, spacious, well maintained private van. He almost felt like family and we were sad to leave him at the end of our trip. Very happy with all the Riads we stayed in- Lina Ryad & Spa in Chefchaouen, Riad Salam- Fes, Tiziri Luxury Camp- Merzouga- it is place you will fall in love with and the staff is amazing- Ahmed, Yusuf and Moustafa, Riad Ksar Ighnda- Ait Ben Houddou, Riad Le Pèlerin- Marakkesh. The staff was very hospitable and genuinely happy to help and serve. Our diet needs of vegan and vegetarian were accommodated well. There is so much culture, art and history that will keep you in a constant awe. From the blue city of Chefcahouen to the Erb Cheggi Sand dunes and to the Medinas of Fes and Medina of Marakkesh you will experience a whole different world. Just as a learning- do not get lured into buying clearly significantly over priced stuff- when you visit the pottery co-operatives, carpet shops. Buy small souvenirs and spices- and bargain ( which many are just not used to doing). Overall a superb trip which has touched our hearts profoundly. Our 10-day trip to Morocco was full of wonders! From Chefchaouen to Fes, from Rabat, Casablanca to Marrakesh, my husband and I have enjoyed the uniqueness of each city and the crowd of medina. Our Morocco photo album was filled with bright colours, distinctive arts and breathtaking panoramas. At the planning phrase, Abdel was able to provide various proposals based on our requirements. While during the trip, Said was flexible enough to accomodate our last minutes requests and changes. From the moment we arrived, our driver-guide Faissel has provided a much appreciated reliable service. He also offered some valuable insights along the way. Our trip high points started from the moment we arrived at Agafay desert where the camp experience was definitely one of a kind. Marrakesh, our last stop, was definitely the highest point of the entire trip. Hanan, our local guide and a foodie herself, generously shared her knowledge and personal views of the city, the culture, and the food.

Our driver Soukaina was incredible. She stopped whenever we asked to take pictures, or to get honey, or for the view. She was always on time and checked in with us to make sure everything was fine at the Riads we stayed in. Her laugh is infectious, and she alone gets 10 stars for being the only women driver in Morocco
Hanan- our tour guide in Marrakesh, 5 stars, was informative, friendly and was easy to have discussions about current and past Morocco. Walking thought the Palace she explained in details the family structure at the time of the Palace first resident. We met another group that had her as a guide and they too spoke highly of her
Mahomed, our Fez guide, 0 stars. He took us to a rug dealer, which we did not ask for. after some time there I told him we are done look at the carpets. Instead of him moving on, he said "you don't need to buy, just look", he then proceed to inform us how the shop could ship the carpet home. He took us to places that gave him a cut if we purchase anything. Though out the tour he would point out certain things but not really go into detail, and was not easy to have a discussion with. I could fill a page on this tour guide.

Hotel Dar Mounir - 5 stars - good location everything worked in the room
Riad Ghita - 4 stars, due to a draft coming in though the winder that the heater could not compete with, TV was broken. Host was wonderful, her breakfast and dinners were stunning
Tiziri Luxury Camp-5 stars- host were incredible. only recommendation is drive to the camp, take the camel to the sunset. 2 hours on the camel is 1.5 hours too much.
Riad Ksar Ighnda-3 stars only because it is in the middle of no-where and seemed pricey for what they offered
Palais Sebban 5 stars mostly due to the New Years Eve Party. The host was making sure people were dancing and having fun. The staff were dancing and having as much fun as the guest. I applaud the host that she included everyone at the party, which had a fire dancer, belly dancer, magician and a all women group that got the part going. Not to mention releasing doves at the beginning.
