I'm always on the lookout for adventure. Whether it's in the city or in the wild, there has to be some kind of adventure about it. The excitement about seeing something new. Meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I love to share my enthusiasm with fellow travellers. My favourite part of the world is the arctic region and the northern scandinavian countries. Nothing beats the Faroe Islands. You are only five minutes away from fantastic scenery and your next great adventure.

"The Faroe Islands. I specialize in all outdoor and cultural activities, photo/driving tours and guided city walks of T贸rshavn. And Beer 馃槈"
How did you get involved in travel?
"When packpacking in Asia in my early 20's I knew that I had to work within the tourism business. So I got my education in tourism management, and since then I have worked in the tourism industry in different countries. Denmark, Greenland and The Faroe Islands."

"It's hard to pick one. I've done so many different things, from chasing wild pigs in the Australian bush to tracking reindeer with the innuits in Greenland. Or cave diving in Vietnam to long trek in the Norwegian mountains. But my everyday adventures in the Faroe Islands are at times just as special, so I cannot pick one. 馃槉"

Tummas ( both our guide and trip planner and owner of Heimdal Tours) did an amazing job. He put together an itinerary of hikes that were somewhat off the beaten track. Spectacular views . Very knowledgeable and personable.
Highly recommend his tour company if you are planning a trip to the Faroe Islands.

I was expecting the trip to be amazing, but it was an absolutely incredible experience and blew my expectations out of the water. From the moment I started planning, to the day we left, working with KimKim, Tummas, David, and Eydun couldn't have been better. Everyone was so helpful, the day trips were so beautiful and the schedule was flexible. The hotel was great, transportation right on time and easy, and the destinations we went to I will never forget. Best trip ever and I can't wait to come back!!

One of the best trips I've been on! Our guide, Tummas, was pure joy. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, prepared and fun. Because the weather is unpredictable, he always had a plan "B" which for us was as good as "Plan A". Lunches were delicious and fresh. The daily trips were well planned and we loved being able to experience some the of hidden gems and experience some of the local, off the beaten track cafes and restaurants. I will remember this trip always and will never forget the kindness and generosity of the people of the Faroe Islands and Tummas. A must holiday.

A taxi picked us up at the airport.
Taxi transfer to airport.
It was good but felt like there was not much to do. We were on our own a lot of the time.
The printed itinerary felt like there was a lot to do.
The Mulafossur waterfall was amazing.
We sat the trollfingur and the giant and the hag.
The old capital was adorable. The scenery was stunning. We did an amazing hike with Tummas in the mountains. Wow. Scared and enjoyed it at the same time.
